The Community Engagement Professionals Network (CEPN) is a community of practice for the faculty and staff who are responsible for administrating a community engagement program, office, or initiative on their campus. Through networking, professional development, peer coaching, and sharing best practices, CEPN enhances members’ capacities to advance community engagement on their campus and throughout the state.

CEPN meets approximately 4 meetings during each academic year. Generally, the group will come together for day long meetings (typically 10am-2pm) on a a Thursday or Friday. Each meeting addresses a topic or topics related to Community Engagement work and determined by the interests and needs of the group. Meetings include opportunities to network, share best practices and receive some professional development. The host campus will also have a little bit of time to present their overarching engagement work and CT & RI Campus Compacts will provide some updates and announcements as well as answer any questions folks have about current activities. The exact meeting format and flow changes based on the topics and group needs.
